ground || horizons
In Spring 2026, CCAM MIX is activated with ground || horizons, a project by Guest Art Directors Tusia Dabrowska and Wiktor Freifeld (MFA, Design – Projections, David Geffen School of Drama, 2026).
From mid-January to mid-April, works by invited artists working in 3D environments, live performance, etc. are being presented, created or adapted for CCAM MIX. CCAM is also holding an open call for Yale community members to present work from April 13–26. Apply to the open call here.
At a moment of unparalleled destruction of the natural world, hastened by the dissolution of the social fabric hastened by new technologies, we turn to off-center ways of knowing to intuit possible futures. With urgency, we tune into ways of knowing that persist, despite forces of erasure, to ask: What forms of production, acknowledging, and order are still available to us as sites of regeneration? How can the encounter with moving image in the public streetscape open space for unfamiliar narratives or embodied responses, renewing how we relate to each other and to the environments we move through? It is from this place of hope that we welcome ideas, visions, and methods of working that help us find solid ground and seek new horizons.
