Wai Hin (Alfred) Wong

Wai Hin (Alfred) Wong is an architectural designer. His creative practice bridges architecture and engineering, with a focus on integrating technology and fabrication techniques to explore future human-machine interactions.

He has been actively engaged with Yale CCAM since pursuing his M.Arch I at Yale School of Architecture, which he completed in 2024. At Yale, he focused on merging the rationality of machines with the experiential capacities of human perception, positioning his work at the intersection of architecture and advanced mechanical design.

Wai Hin’s projects as a CCAM Studio Fellow (2023–2024) and Ultra Space Research Fellow (2024–2025) involved designing machines that push the boundaries of human experience, including an expansion/compression system for a Zero-G spacesuit, an underwater wearable jetpack, and an aero-amphibious vehicle.
