CCAM Wednesday Wisdom: DIY AI
Wednesday, September 18, 2024 | 6:00PM to 8:00PM
Create, discover, and explore—and be part of the CCAM community! Our Wednesday Wisdom workshops explore dynamic intersections of the arts and technology, and are designed and led by the center’s team, along with collaborators from both on and off campus. Come to CCAM on select Wednesday evenings between September and May for creativity, conversation, and a pizza dinner.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll dive into the world of DIY (do-it-yourself!) AI. Learn to build and deploy your own AI systems with user-friendly tools, open-source software, and affordable hardware. You’ll leave the workshop with an understanding of how to customize AI models through an experimental approach that leverages community practice.
Designed and taught by Matthew Suttor (CCAM Program Manager and Senior Lecturer, Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies, Yale College) and Desi Kao (NYU ‘27 and CCAM Intern, Summer 2024)
