The students and faculty of the Open Music Initiative and Computing and the Arts are happy to invite you to the 3rd biannual showcase of new computer music at CCAM on Monday, December 9th at 7:30 pm. This showcase series has featured new and experimental music technologies, such as live electronics improvisation using analog and digital synthesizers, live coding, performances with interactive processing and pieces featuring eight-channel sound spatialization. The showcase is sponsored by The Open Music Initiative, an organization that coordinates work groups, workshops and concerts on subjects at the intersection of music and technology with an emphasis on openness and bottom-up structure.
