For the first event in the Fall 2020 CCAM Sound Art Series we are excited to welcome Charles Corey, Director and Curator of the Harry Partch Instrumentarium. He will give a 2 day lecture series on October 1st and 2nd at 5pm EST on the life and work of Harry Partch. Corey will focus on Partch’s microtonal theoretical approach to composition using “Just Intonation” and his unique and distinctive ensemble of self made instruments.This event is free and open to the public, RSVP for zoom invitation for each day via the links below.
