Blended Reality Altspace World Builders Virtual Workshop

AltspaceVR (https://altvr.com) is one of the on-ramps to the Metaverse. In AltspaceVR, you create an avatar and join others to meet and explore virtual worlds. And you don’t need to be limited to experiencing these worlds — you can become a World Builder, upload your own world vision, and invite others to join you! In this virtual workshop open to the Yale community, Randy Rode will introduce the no-code and Unity3D workflows for Altspace World Building and show you how to get started.

Please email ccam@yale.edu to register and receive a Zoom link. In preparation for the workshop, please take time to create your Altspace account in Yale's private space. Visit https://altvr.com and use the "Sign in with Microsoft" option. Use the 'company account' option and sign in with your regular Yale email and password. Have fun customizing your avatar. AltspaceVR is accessible with a Windows or Mac 2D client, or on Oculus Quest or SteamVR for the full immersive experience.
