Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Oral History of American Music Composers revisit and remix OHAM interviews
Oral History of American Music (OHAM) collects and preserves the voices of the major musical figures of our time. In celebration of OHAM’s 50th anniversary, composers plundered the collection and created new works using interview recordings as source material. OHAM is a collection of Yale’s Irving S. Gilmore Music Library. This is a live performance to kick off the start of the reVox exhibition/multimedia installation. This performance is a part of CCAM’s Wednesday Wisdom series.
