On April 25, CCAM is pleased to present the final thesis projects from the Music track of the Computing and the Arts Program. The evening will be part performance and part demonstration. CPAR majors Casey Celestin, Kenyon Duncan, Nikola Kamcev, Tomaso Mukai, and David Torres will briefly describe their research in areas including spatial audio, digital signal processing, sound synthesis, human-computer interaction, and computer music programming for live performance. They will then present or perform their creative work showcasing the underlying research. The evening’s music covers a broad range of styles and compositional approaches, including electronic dance music, acousmatic/soundscape composition, installation-based sound art, immersive VR environments, and live improvisation. All are welcome!
