CCAM Announces The Fall 2019 Machines in Residence Program

CCAM is thrilled to announce the Machines in Residence for Fall of 2019. This pilot program is based on the traditional artist residency, but instead of bringing artists— we are bringing in machines. CCAM Director Dana Karwas sees them as characters participating in a larger dialogue around art making and creative practice. As part of their year-long residency, the first cohort of machines will develop collaborations with students and faculty, participate in curricular activities, and will assist the Yale community with creative experimentation in developing new bodies of work.
